Mark your calendar, rad fatties - Fat Joy is back on October 25, 2026, from 12–4pm at the Campbell Community Center (Orchard Banquet Hall, 1 W. Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA 95008). Same beloved location as last year, same unapologetic energy, and honestly? Even more packed with joy than before.

This isn't a "body positivity" event with a side of diet talk sneaking in through the back door. This is zero diet culture, zero apologies, zero shrinking. Just an afternoon of fat community, real talk, good food, and - as the shirts say - a reminder that fat joy is an act of resistance.

Our Keynote: Rawiyah Tariq

We are so honored to have Rawiyah Tariq (they/them) as this year's keynote speaker. Rawiyah is a Black, fat, disabled, neurodivergent artist who uses ritual and storytelling to reclaim space for marginalized bodies, and their session, "Fat Rebellion: Cultivating Fat Joy," is exactly the kind of talk you'll want to sit down early for.

Expect radical self-love, body liberation, and joy as resistance; the real, lived-in kind, not the Instagram-caption kind.

Sing-Along + Shop-eoke with DJ Saucye West

Panel: Surviving Doctor's Visits

A panel of fierce fatties will get real about navigating anti-fat bias in medical care; practical strategies for advocating for yourself when the system wasn't built with you in mind.

Masks are required for the entire event. The space is ADA-compliant, with a nearby parking lot and no stairs. Most chairs are armless, with a few armchairs available for anyone who needs one. Please layer up in case the room runs hot or cold.
